So I’m finally here in Korea. After years of bitching about moving, here I am. Can’t think of much to say. I just posted because I realized that my last post was from 8 months ago. Now we don’t want this to be much updatesd, would we?

I will post more once I get things in order here. I mean, I’ve only been here three days.

A really, really, really good friend of mine just got married. She’s the only friend I’ve known since we were in diapers (technically lampin, but I digress). She’s 23 just like me. It was a complete surprise. I feel that she’s too young to get married, but if she’s happy, who am I to know better?

Echoing my previous post a couple of years back when my aunt and another friend got married at the same month, while at that time I was busy planning to go halfway around the world to see a boy band’s concert, I just realized that I’m still the same.

Another marriage, another eye-opener for me. I want to travel the world, get my PhD, make a difference, be famous, enter a monastery, buy my parents a house, send my siblings to good universities–and more. I guess my way of telling if I’m really in love and read to marry is if these things don’t even enter into consideration (maybe except the latter two) when the time comes.

Where to in 2009? Some good place to start anew… say, Asia? =)

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

• It’s Shi-chan’s お誕生日 today. And I’ve stopped daydreaming about him. Haha.
• Advent’s A-coming! And no, it’s not Christmas Season yet! It’s Advent, people, Advent! Now act accordingly.
• Eschatology may very well be my calling. As everyone else is too.
• Music is the only art from heaven that was given to Earth.
• His will be done.
• I want to go to Divinity School. I really want to! I want to study Early Christianity, Patristics, Church History, not the Internal Anal Sphincter and whatnot! I want to kick some serious Gluteus Maximus in Theology!

Resilience. One of my few redeeming qualities. I feel better now. My friend Joshua gave me very good advice towards this crush that’s not exactly available. I look forward to seeing that guy on Monday and not feeling crushed. Plus, I’m headed to the bathhouse and KSY tomorrow… Yay!

1. Espen Lind — Beautiful voice + beautiful face + talents = love galore!
2. Stilettos — I’m a late bloomer but a woman is never too late to start wearing these fantastic pieces of art.
3. Korean bathhouses — Affordable, “raw,” and refreshing.
4. Hayami Mocomichi — He’s still my perfect boyfriend specimen.
5. Sara Bareilles — Another music find.
6. Arashi — Old news, but it never hurts to express one’s love often.
7. Baking + Cooking — I never thought that cooking and especially baking can feel so rewarding. Haha. Really, I actually like doing them.
8. Anais Nin — We argue sometimes.
9. Neosporin — A new beauty find. It doesn’t work fast, but it WORKS! Kills my zits gently and I don’t end up with an ugly pimple scar on my face.

I talked to the man I like earlier and even though I know he has a girlfriend, I still like him. And I’m liking him even more since he’s so nice and cute…. GAAAAAH! I don’t like this at all. Does this mean I got the DoS and DoM blood from Jun already?

Ahahahaha! Oh my goodness… a stunning realization. I like AQ… He has a girlfriend… Sigh…

I’ve heard people say that the mid to late 20s is the best marrying age. I’m 23. I’ve been legally able to marry for the last 5 years. But I don’t want to get married. Not in my mind yet. But hey, if I’m gonna get married, here’s my very simple list of requirements.

PRESUMED: You’re a Homo sapien male.

1. MUST be CATHOLIC. If you’re not Catholic, there’s no way we can get married. Really.

2. NOT just any Catholic for that matter. You MUST be a Traditionalist ROMAN CATHOLIC.

3. MUST let me be a HOUSEWIFE. Well, this is redundant since I already specified in numbers 1 & 2, but it doesn’t hurt to be specific.

4. MUST be a good provider for the family (no, it doesn’t mean wealthy. It means you can properly provide for the BASIC needs of our family.).

5. I don’t give a flying fudge on how you look. Just be able to fulfill the numbers 1 to 4 and we’re good.

Yeah, I’m serious about that. God willing, I’ll get married and have a family. If not, hello Carthusians–which is an equally wonderful option.!

Just an update before I leave Friendster for a short while…

1. I’m not going to Taiwan anymore. Yeah, I know…

2. Not going to get my Master’s at UCLA either… Yes, yes, I know…

3. And no, I don’t feel bad about it at all.

4. Do I have a plan? Yes, I do. Things have never been clearer for me.

5. What now?

6. A job… somewhere =)
