One of my professors said that it helps when you talk about what just happened or what’s happening or whatever. The important thing is, you get to organize your thoughts and be able to use both sides of your brain… or something like that. I’ve been doing that the whole time so I guess this is the best my brain can become… I am a cretin for Christ’s sake! What is I haven’t done the whole brain integration thing? What would I be now?

I met Chris Hedberg yesterday. He’s been dead for almost a year now. He’s this legend of a comedian and he died of a heart attack or something. I love his jokes about the fish being "caught", the escalator, the donut receipt, and well, a whole lot more. I remember someone mentioning him and I looked him up and I forgot all about him. Then I saw from someones xanga a clip of him on Youtube and I am enraptured. Only to find out AGAIN that he’s dead. A double whammy for me.

I watched my fave movie "Chungking Express" and I fell in love with it all over again. I rarely watch the movie–really rare–so rare that I didn’t even included it in my "Favorite Movies" list on Friendster, so you can say I love this movie dearly. Wong Kar-Wai is a genius.

I am pouring over Faye Wong these past few days… because of my whole Chungking Express re-immersion… I am so going to China next year! Really! Nanjing University, here I come! You guys should check out Faye’s version of the song ‘Dreams" by the Cranberries… it’s a knockout, I promise.

My parents (and all 4 kids of course) are thinking of going to Japan this Summer. I have an aunt and a cousin who lives there. If it goes through, well, I’ll be ecstatic. I have always wanted to go there because of my obsession with manga and anime. I am excited. But I will be learning Chinese this Summer so… but still! Have you seen how cute Japanese stuff are?!

I still haven’t gotten my MARS manga. Damn that USPS! Why on earth are they still on business! UPS and FedEx would suffice!!! I am bugging my parents to get me some new Manga (manga hog? there’s no such thing compadres)… I am thinking of getting Dramacon and… well, I don’t know yet.

My friend Ian just called me. Goodness.. I haven’t heard from him for a long time! And my friend Kara also gave me a testimonial of some sort… Hey Kara, go to Mount Saint Mary’s!!! Don’t go to SDSU… I will miss you!!! I am scared shit of driving… how on Earth will I get to San Diego?! Kidding. Just go wherever you feel will give you the best… wherever you’ll be happy.

Went to Downtown L.A. today with my aunt Hazel (and her bestfriend Chira) to get our gowns for the upcoming wedding. My aunt is getting married on August and Chira will be the maid of honor while I, with my cousin Nina will be the lovely bridesmaids. Exciting, eh?! Not to mention I get to wear a pretty pink gown. I hope all goes well…

I sort of semi-decided (is there such thing?) that I will stay here in L.A. with my family. I am just leaning more towards staying than leaving for San Francisco–so I am still holding on to my decision form to USF… I need more time to think.

I will be studying Chinese soon. Since I will be majoring in History and I want to emphasize Asian (most especially Chinese) History and Catholic monasticism, Chinese is the best way to go. As for the monastics part, I want to learn Italian. I know it’s pretty ambitious to go for two languages but I know it’s possible. And yes, I am going for both, maybe more–but I will start with Chinese. I also want to learn Japanese like my cousin Ambo and friend Abbey because I share with them a love for Japanese culture–and animation! We’ll see where this goes…

I will be loading myself up with a gazillion courses this summer "vacation" because I want to earn as much "free" credits as I can from community colleges. Plus, I want to graduate as soon as possible. I also applied as a docent to Wright’s museum in Hollywood. I hope I get in.

I have a huge workload at school and I need to get started right away (Hooray for tomorrow’s a holiday! God bless America for its long weekends!). So, I’ll be leaving with a "ta-ta!" and off I go. Poof!
