The Late Bloomer

Posted by psychicpigeon in Uncategorized

After claiming that I am anime fanatic, it would surprise you to hear that I am just starting to watch Bleach. Hehehe… What can I say? told you I am a late bloomer. I have seen the first episode before but I found it boring so I passed. But after reconsidering and a good storytelling of better episodes by my good friend Abyamapi, I decided to give it a go. Anyway, I still find it boring but I will give it time. I even sort of have a crush on Ichigo…..

And speaking of crushes, my mania for Edison Chen is rapidly fading away. Besides the fact that he writes (and most probably acts and talks) like a gangster rapper whatever, I saw a video of him half naked and dry humping an anorexic chic, so yeah, a major turn off… but it’s not so bad for me because I am going gaga for Jiro Wang and Ninomiya. Hahaha… I know, I know, I am unfaithful but what can I say? This is so much better than a messy divorce, yeah?

I really want to learn the guitar again but where to start? No idea. Oh yeah, my aunt’s wedding (where I will play a lovely Bridesmaid) is only 2 months away and I still have a fat ass… how the helluvah will I fit into that dress? Simple… I will not eat for forty days. Damn!

As always, I am still confused of what I want to do simply because I refuse to try things out and find out what I want. I am embarrassed to say what my real passion is (don’t worry, it’s not porn or telemarketing) and I all I can say is, it involves fame, fame, fame. Woot!

My apologies to Abbey and Ate Riza because I failed to bring back with me a Louisiana key chain and a Texas shot glass. Heh. Oh, did I mention I am back in sunny California-y after a 10 day rendezvous in the South? Oh, and did I mention that I got back yesterday after a first class plane ride from DFW to LAX? It was first time… yes, my first time… to be in a first class seat. Not to mention being able to choose between Pancakes or Omelets (I heard the Coach folks got the ‘biscuit or bagel’ option). And the leg room! I am so keeping my boarding pass as a remembrance of a specially good memory. Hahaha… But then again, what can I expect from a house inhabited by two unsupervised teenage boys? you guessed it, messy as hell. It was stuffy too. I thought I was gonna sleep the whole day and instead I found myself cleaning the house and cooking spaghetti for the two boys. My parents will be back tomorrow night from Texas so our heyday is almost over.

Anyway, I have to sleep now. I am dead tired. I am sleeping in the living room couch tonight because my brother is already sleeping in my bed in MY room. I would normally wake him up so I can claim my soft, good smelling, and comfortable bed, but I decided not to be a bitch tonight (I have been hearing bitch a lot more often lately) and be a less bitchy sister… and I sort of pissed my bro off by calling his girlfriend masungit… (how do you even say that in English?)

So I’m off. Till next time.

Zai jian.

Who is John Galt?

Posted by psychicpigeon in Uncategorized

Wow… after a relatively long hiatus from my blogging, I feel weird having to share weird stuff about me again… but then again, I like it, so yeah, I’m back…

I haven’t read for a long time but I got started reading again when my soon-to-be uncle lent me his copy of the Da Vinci Code… I know, I know it’s pretty darn late but I have a very logical explanation… you might hate the reason, but you’ll love the end… I guess… You see when Dan Brown’s book just got out, I already had the itch to get it, BUT, I was easily swayed by the strong avisos of the Mother Catholic Church so there, I fought the urge… but now that my religion mania is dying down, I voluntary looked for a copy and what do you know? Got it for free… Anyway, my point is, I’m back to my reading and I am currently devouring Ayn Rand’s Atlas Shrugged. I know, I know, another late read but it’s better late than never… My summer reading lists consists of classics that I should have read before hitting puberty… I need a little catching up, ya? So here’s the list…

1. Atlas Shrugged

2. Narnia (I never watch the movie before reading the book)

3. Catch-22

4. Lolita (What can I say about Lolita lovers?)

5. Old Man and the Sea

6. Clockwork Orange

7. Some poems…

8. And I will try very, very hard to comprehend some Shakespeare… though I doubt it.

I have the biggest crush on Blue’s Clues Steve… hahaha… too bad he’s been replaced… but yeah, he’s the cutest dork ever. I adore dorky guys… hahaha…

Edison Chen currently makes my world go round… His face just gives me the… well… Awww shucks! He rocks my socks and my panties. Yeahhhh! Though I don’t like the way he talks–you know, the gangster kind of talking (and maybe personality too) with a generous serving of the f-word–my friend reasoned that changing personalities is better than changing a person’s face. God I’m freakin’ shallow.

Obviously, I’m not out of the country as I was to supposed to be this Summer, nor will I be gone for Fall… But I definitely will be gone for Spring next year. I AM definitely going even if it means I will exhaust all my financial sources… That’s not gonna happen but I’m merely trying to describe how bad I want to go and be with my kind… Hahaha.

My cousin from Narita (Japan, baby) wants me to go visit her… But I’ve got bills to pay, weight to lose, books to read, and a wedding to attend, so yeah, I can’t go. I want to go too but I will most likely make it next Summer… we’ll see.

It’s very hot in California right now!!! Freakin’ A!!!

I hate having John Galt questions when it’s this hot… Not to mention sweating like a hog and smelling worse than one. Anyhow, my computer is broken so I am using my parent’s PC so that explains my very, very long post–making the most out of it… And I haven’t seen any dramas in a while so I am going nuts. I am so switching to MACs… Does anyone know if Youtube is Mac-friendly? Xie Xie Ni!

And amen to my friend Mina about her love for Lloydie… same for me… as long as Edison is not yet married, destiny will guide the way… and my heart! Sigh…

For now, Zai Jian my Pengyous!

Wo Ai Ni Eddie. Mwah!

Oh, Abbey-chan, get a hold of yourself. Stop the cycle. Kill the bastard. It’s not healthy you know… and I like Takeshi’s castle better… you know what I mean. Go to L.A. on July, the convention is here, baby! buh-bye!
